, The initial cost of a Front D60 is quite high.so if I am planning on running all aftermarket parts why spend big bucks on a complete assembly and all the parts that I am not going to use, just to deal with the headache of parting it out. Axle Shafts & Superjoints, ARB, Warn lock-outs, and 5.13 R&P. Reid/Dedenbear knuckles & C's (end forgings), High Steer Arms & Cross over steering, Yukon 35sp. Why? Well for a couple of reasons:, I am planning on using all custom parts.e.g. The solution.make a Front Dana 60 out of a Rear D60. Ok, so I have been looking for a Front Dana 60 for my 77SII, and I have pretty much given up on the possibility of finding one in a junk yard for cheap, and I don't want to spend the $1000 + for one, so I have been tossing around some ideas in my head.
